COORDINATOR ID & WASS ORIENTATION

Lisa Walker Sears, Director of HUD Property Management Operations
Lisa came to MPMA in 2021 with 30+ years of property management experience. She supervised staff and operations for large portfolios of HUD and LIHTC properties throughout the mid-Atlantic, first as a Regional Manager and then as a Vice President. Her experience includes REAC Physical Inspections, Management & Occupancy Reviews, Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing, Monthly Accounting Reports, and numerous regulatory requirements under the HUD FHA loan program.

Paul Edwards, Account Manager
Paul spent three decades as a Controller at an affordable housing developer and management company. He joined the Murphy team in 2017. He coaches management consulting clients on MARs reporting requirements, FASSUB submission matters and other ongoing HUD regulatory requirements. He is an expert in WASS access troubleshooting and APPS approvals.

Denise Murphy Edwards, Principal
Denise spent ten years working for an affordable housing developer and management company before starting Murphy Consulting in 2008. She "gets it" from both a transactional and operational perspective. Working with HUD and lenders to assure a comprehensive protocol, she established Murphy Property Management Advisors to meet a growing need in the FHA Loan industry.
